Before

Overview
Sunworld designs, builds, and maintains landscapes across the Southwest. I designed their original site; this 2026 refresh rebuilds it around the desert it works in.
Problem
The original was a clean white layout with orange blocks and a lush, green hero. Sunworld's work is water-wise desert planting, and a year-round care plan is the real product, so the page needed to feel like the place and make the plan tangible.
Design system
Warm sand field, terracotta, deep agave green, and a sun-yellow highlight. Bricolage Grotesque for display over Hanken Grotesk. Arches and arcs are the recurring shape, from image crops to section edges.
- Centered hero over a full-bleed desert property with a booking ticker
- Arched service photography in an offset collage
- “A year of care” as a sun path arcing across twelve months on a terracotta band
- Before/after slider for a featured project, then a green band for the quote and site-walk form
Outcome
Desktop 1440 and mobile 390 in Figma, where the sun path becomes a vertical timeline on mobile. Part of a four-site legacy refresh.
